    sun. Every hit would be welcome if only one hit in a thousand turned out to be a sale, then I would be happy. funny thing though, commonly misspelled words can actually be a good source of hits. whilst my spelling of jaz was a simple error, I have deliberately included some misspelled words in my tags to catch those that make typo errors. put the word gooogle in your tags and whatch your hit counter go int hypadrive.

    no one would search for jaz scores or jaz music. You spelled jazz wrong. its too broad anyway, I wouldn’t want to be ranked for those terms because they are not so relavent to my content. My site deals with big band charts and big band arrangements and that’s what I am in the top 1-3 for. Your are right though, good content, in bound links, etc. I’m going to redo the whole site in WordPress anyway. That will get it more organized.

    If i were to upload a site called “jimosteafortwo” then anyone searching “jimostteafortwo” would find my site at number one spot. S.E.O is all about producing a website that is well put together and has relevent content, lots of inbound links etc. If I tried searching for “jaz scores” or “jaz music” then your site would probebly not be on the first 1,000,000 pages.

    This video is getting old now. I’m number one for a bunch of terms including big band arrangements.

    I’ve noticed a major change in traffic from being number one for a bunch of terms. 10 new subscribers per day average is not bad for a niche site. When you consider how many jazz musicians there are in the world, its not that small of a niche really. And yes, the traffic does turn into money.

    you should be up there with such a niche search term, what percent of searches is big band arrangements.

    Good search term results are simple… good keywords, links to and from your site, sitemaps etc … until your site has had time for all your links and hits to crawl up the engines these “get no1″ vids are all the same.. obscure search temrs no one searches.
